Dog Days of Summer

Just wanted to share a few shots of Joey and his friends. The old baseball field situated in front of Grits and F&M’s has become an informal dog park of Uptown. Right after Hurricane Katrina, the baseball field was filled with families living in FEMA trailers. One of the newest additions to Magazine Street, Magasin, is quickly becoming the new uptown hot spot. It’s open for lunch and dinner and the prices and food are just right. For a while, NOLA pho lovers, would travel to the Westbank to indulge their cravings at Pho Tau Bay. Although I can’t speak for Pho Tau Bay’s offerings, Magasin’s I can. « Read the rest of this entry »
